Mary was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. Mary has explored many parts of the world, but the mountains have always captured her spirit.
She has spent most of her life in resort communities like Aspen, CO., Truckee, CA., and Mt. Shasta, where she has indulged her love of animals, nature, gardening, painting, and sports.
Mary is a licensed Broker and has earned a CRS (certified residential specialist) designation, a symbol of excellence in residential real estate.
Mary began her real estate career in 2000 as a sales agent. In 2009, she joined one of Truckee/Tahoe’s leading teams closing hundreds of real estate escrows as their transaction manager and sales agent during an eleven-year relationship. Carrie Hoyt and I worked closely together during those years and established a complimentary working relationship. We teamed together and formed Shasta Mountain Realty, to work in an area we both love and which I call home.
Living in Lake Shastina with her husband Mark and their dog Cali, Mary continues sharing her in-depth real estate experience, educating clients when purchasing or selling a home. With her artistic eye for design, she stages homes for a quicker sale and can give buyers creative ideas to improve a fixer property.
Her enthusiasm for life shows whether volunteering at Siskiyou Humane Society Thrift Store in Mt. Shasta, participating on the MLS committee, spending time with friends or meeting new clients. Mary is there to guide you through any hurdles that can occur during a real estate transaction. Selling or buying a home should be an exciting and memorable experience, not a stressful one.
